Overview
The Human Resources Generalist will play a key role in managing recruitment, employee relations, compliance, performance management, and other HR activities to ensure a smooth and effective workforce environment within a manufacturing setting.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting, including posting jobs, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and onboarding;
- Act as a liaison between management and employees to address grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution;
- Promote positive workplace culture through engagement programs and communication efforts;
- Conduct investigations and recommend actions for employee relations issues, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures;
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws, including FMLA, OSHA, and EEO regulations;
- Support managers with coaching, counseling, and developing employees to maximize performance;
- Coordinate and facilitate employee training programs, including onboarding, safety, and leadership development;
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and upskilling within the workforce;
- Collaborate with the Director of Human Resources to align HR initiatives with business goals;
- Participate in developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and projects;
- Perform other required tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required;
- At least five years of experience in human resources required within a manufacturing environment;
- PHR or SHRM certification preferred;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite as well as Microsoft Teams;
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment;
- Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally;
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;
- Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is a plus;
- Ability to work in a team environment.
