Overview

The Human Resources Generalist will play a key role in managing recruitment, employee relations, compliance, performance management, and other HR activities to ensure a smooth and effective workforce environment within a manufacturing setting.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting, including posting jobs, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and onboarding;
  • Act as a liaison between management and employees to address grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution;
  • Promote positive workplace culture through engagement programs and communication efforts;
  • Conduct investigations and recommend actions for employee relations issues, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures;
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws, including FMLA, OSHA, and EEO regulations;
  • Support managers with coaching, counseling, and developing employees to maximize performance;
  • Coordinate and facilitate employee training programs, including onboarding, safety, and leadership development;
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and upskilling within the workforce;
  • Collaborate with the Director of Human Resources to align HR initiatives with business goals;
  • Participate in developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and projects;
  • Perform other required tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required;
  • At least five years of experience in human resources required within a manufacturing environment;
  • PHR or SHRM certification preferred;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite as well as Microsoft Teams;
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment;
  • Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally;
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;
  • Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is a plus;
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
